They say there’s a first time for everything. Being called to photograph a wedding 4 days before the event with it being held on a Tuesday afternoon and being 5 minutes down the road….
I guess this wedding was one of those!
Looking back now, I had nothing to worry about. Both Craig & Jaroon were amazing to work with. They both looked beautiful on the day and couldn’t have picked a better time or venue for their marriage.
The Sydney Rowing Club in Abbotsford pulled out all stops in a short turn-around time. With the ceremony planned for an hour before sunset, it made the whole venue glow and glisten in the afternoon sun. And with just enough room and people to fill the intimate venue it turned out to be a perfect afternoon.
After the ceremony on the balcony of the Sydney Rowing Club, the couple had some quick portraits with family and guests before sitting down to a 3-course meal.
Then it was time to clear the dance floor, pump up the music and let the night take shape! Jaroon didn’t leave the dance floor from start to finish, with all the guests getting up and sharing a dance and a glass of champagne. Again, not your typical Tuesday night!
Since we were short on time on the Tuesday, we had planned a portrait session the following day along Sydney Harbour. And there’s no better place than down at Milsons Point and around Luna Park Sydney!
With Craig, Jaroon and their family all arriving in their clothes from the night before it made a great transition from the wedding to the portraits the following day. And although it was a little cloudy and very windy, we all had a great time by the harbour.
Although the whole event from first contact to completion was only 5 days, the photos speak for themselves. Some classic portraits along with some great candid, natural wedding photographs. Thank you Craig and Jaroon for allowing me to be part of your special day.

Sydney Rowing Club is the perfect backdrop for photos, and when the sun sets it makes the whole area sparkle!
Even though we had little room to position and move, the glowing sun and flowing wedding dress still made a great portrait.
Who doesn’t like a backlit portrait? And even more so when it’s at sunset over looking the beautiful Parramatta River.
This little girl was amazing throughout the whole day! So much character and such a cheeky little one!
Sydney Rowing Club offers their clients to be married right on the balcony of the venue, overlooking the amazing Parramatta River.
The morning after their wedding, Craig & Jaroon were joined by their families for some portraits by Sydney Harbour.
It was a little windy by the harbour – Craig tries to keep Jaroon warm during the middle of our shoot.
