When I first caught up with Chelsea she told me the kind of wedding photography she was looking for: relaxed, candid, natural, friendly. Then when I started talking about my own style of work, they all matched perfectly. Chelsea’s a very driven person but definitely knows how to laugh (even at herself) and after the first meeting I had a great feeling about this wedding!
The big day was no exception. Geoff was super-cool and relaxed the whole morning. So relaxed he wrote his speech while everyone else was getting ready. And Chelsea was down at Pier One Hotel Sydney getting ready with the amazing Stacey McPherson Makeup.
Then it was off to Mosman for a stunning ceremony overlooking Sydney Harbour at Sergeants Mess. One thing the couple didn’t want with their wedding photography was a long drawn-out day of spending hours taking formal, bridal photos. I understand that (and get asked this more often now days!) so we quickly walked up the road around Sergeants Mess as the sun was setting and still captured some stunning bridal images.
After that it was back to the reception for some time to relax, enjoy their moment and celebrate with friends & family – and laugh! So many laughs!
